Travel Speech Language Pathologist – Fusion Medical Staffing Facility in Rochelle Park, New Jersey 13‑week travel assignment Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. Conduct standardized assessments and clinical observations to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Design and implement individualized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices. Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home‑based exercises, and safe swallowing practices, offering supportive counseling as required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in speech‑language therapy. Qualifications Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations. Master’s degree or higher in Speech‑Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology. Experience in Speech‑Language Pathology preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply. Requirements Can read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Physical: Must remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Technical/Motor: Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures and departmental equipment. Mental: Must cope with frequent public contact and meet deadlines under pressure; able to work under occasional close supervision or independently.
