Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- IL OT license or eligible
- Previous experience working with kids is preferred, school-base a plus! Fieldwork counts
As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with middle school aged learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details:
- Schedule: full time
- Dates: August 24, 2026-June 3, 2027
- Hours: 8:15-3:45, M-F open to two part-time candidates
- Setting: school based
- Collaborative team of 8 Occupational Therapists
- In-person only
- Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
