- Number of Beds: 36
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 (with some flexibility to 6) - Equipment & Technology:
- Telemetry Monitoring
- EMR: Meditech - Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1 Year Med-Surg Experience
- BLS Certification
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Orthopedics and/or Trauma care - Typical Patient Population:
- Polytrauma patients
- Non-surgical cervical fractures (cleared by spine)
- Ortho and trauma patients with downgraded TBI
- Patients with no more than 3 drains
- Burn downgrade patients
- Administration of Heparin and Protonix drips - Personality Traits:
- Strong team player - Required Certifications:
- N/A - Floating Areas:
- All Med-Surg Units - Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue - Unit Guidelines:
- Report to the unit by 0645/1845 for Huddle
- Tardiness in accordance with Hospital Policy by 0653/1853 - Commitment:
