We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Willingboro, NJ. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role includes operating and maintaining ventilatory equipment, performing respiratory procedures and monitoring, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube care, performing arterial puncture and pulmonary function testing, and providing patient education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current New Jersey state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation, invasive and non-invasive ventilation modes, and ventilator setup and self-testing.
• Experience performing arterial puncture, oximetry, capnography, 12-lead EKG, and basic arrhythmia recognition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube management.
• Experience with pulmonary function testing (NIF, VC) and moderate complexity laboratory specimen handling.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Night 3x12.
• Position requires providing intensive respiratory care and patient transport within the scope of professional license.
