Job Title Training Coordinator Department Operations Reports To Plant Manager Hours Full‑time; 40 hours per week, M-TH 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Job Summary The Manufacturing Training Coordinator develops, implements, and manages training programs for manufacturing and warehouse employees. Emphasis is on on‑floor technical skills and safety procedures, ensuring employees are trained to perform their jobs safely and efficiently and contributing to overall operational success. The role includes all phases of the training program from new hire preparation through hands‑on position competency, refreshing training and certifications, and advocating for employee career growth and development. Duties and Responsibilities Organize and manage new hire set‑up. Organize and manage new hire training – first 30 days, then incrementally for the first full year. Assess and validate training needs through multiple means, including subject matter experts. Develop and administer training programs for staff. Maintain a training matrix to document skill progression for each employee. Research and analyze training functions to assist with material development; establish processes to monitor and improve the curriculum life‑cycle. Certify/re‑certify shop employees (safety training, forklift, bobcat, etc.). Provide guidance to supervisors and employees in planning job‑related career development programs. Advocate for employee career development and support individual career planning. Education and Experience Minimum 4 years’ work experience. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong people skills with the ability to give direction and train. Self‑motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Consistent and punctual attendance to the set schedule. Physical Requirements Must stand for extended periods of time. Must move about the facility as needed. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors, etc. Compensation Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000, depending upon experience. Eligible for a $5,000 sign‑on bonus – $2,500 after 90 days and $2,500 after one year.
