What You'll Do
- Perform radiation therapy treatments in a hospital setting for oncology patients
- Operate advanced equipment such as Varian True Beams with EDGE packages and GE CT simulators
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver precise treatment plans
- Document treatment details accurately in electronic medical records
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Assist with patient positioning and imaging processes
What You Need
- Active ARRT-T certification and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures
- Flexibility to cover multiple locations within 15-minute driving distances
- Pending license accepted
About the Assignment
This is a contract position at a magnet-recognized, short-term acute care hospital with 672 beds, providing advanced cancer treatments. The facility operates with cutting-edge Varian True Beams and GE CT simulators, supporting high-quality patient care. The role involves working at two nearby locationsAbbot Northwestern in Minneapolis and United Hospital in St. Pauloffering a flexible block schedule with minimal RTO restrictions.
