Our benefits are available at . Position Summary This role is a Conflicts Counsel located in our Cleveland office. The position is hybrid with work-from-home flexibility. It is ideal for an attorney who wishes to use a JD in a non‑practice role focused on conflicts analysis within a corporate and transactional environment. The Conflicts Counsel will be a key member of the risk management team, providing clearance for new business, attorney and staff hires, and acquisitions or mergers involving other law firms. Essential Functions Conduct conflict checks on parties, including affiliates and related parties. Manage the firm‑wide conflicts clearance process for new clients and lateral attorneys. Consult with the General Counsel, Risk Management Officer, Conflict and Intake Manager, and other stakeholders about conflicts results, resolutions, and process improvements. Provide and review waiver and engagement letter exemplars, ensuring required conditions are met. Manage the Outside Counsel Guideline process and review for potential issues. Research ethical issues and provide best‑practice recommendations to the General Counsel and Conflict & Risk Management Counsel. Assist with creation, implementation, and updates to policies and procedures related to matter maintenance and lateral movements. Train secretarial and administrative staff on the conflicts/new business intake workflow application. Stay current on trends in conflicts of interest management. Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Confidentiality Due to the nature of this role, you will have access to confidential documents and information that must be kept sealed at all times. Qualifications

• J.D. required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience performing conflicts analysis in a large law firm (preferred).
• Excellent computer skills and experience with automated conflict check software (Intapp Open preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of ethical, legal, and risk‑management rules governing conflict of interest and resolution processes, including international guidelines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; able to explain conflicts reports to timekeepers and other personnel with tact and diplomacy.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: $106,000 to $139,500 per year. Full‑time positions may qualify for discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
