The Bar Back will provide essential support to our bartenders and ensure the smooth operation of our bar area. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to customers promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies, glassware, and utensils. Prepare garnishes, and ensure the availability of necessary ingredients and supplies. Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glasses, and utensils. Assist in opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the bar area. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and requests. Monitor and replenish stock levels throughout the shift to avoid shortages. Assist in maintaining inventory records and conducting regular stock checks. Collaborate with the bar team to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers. Comply with all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
