Salary Range
$35k-$36K
Job Summary
- Performs a variety of office secretarial and clerical duties.
General Accountabilities
- Schedules patient appointments, answers general questions, and outsources authorizations and pre-authorizations for patient care services.
- Has patients complete required paperwork or documentation.
- Processes insurance forms and maintains logs.
- Scans and submits appropriate documents to billing department.
- Inserts laboratory results and incoming faxed into patient charts.
- Files charts according to established procedures.
- Reads and prioritizes incoming mail.
- Provides assistance in the day-to-day needs of the office.
- Establishes and maintains files and records.
- Tracks equipment and office supply inventories.
- *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: A few months to one year of related experience
