Education and Certifications:

• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required.

Experience and Skills:

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and contemporary respiratory care techniques.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations involving patients, colleagues, and visitors.
• Knowledge of psychosocial, physiological, and spiritual needs across all age groups, from infants to adults, to provide tailored care.

Physical and Communication Requirements:

• Effective oral communication skills.
• Manual dexterity to operate and assemble respiratory equipment.
• Visual acuity and physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods, reposition patients, and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work in environments with potential exposure to blood and other infectious materials.
