Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Specialty Care (Neurology – Alzheimer & Dementia Patients) Job ID 60051 – one opening. This full‑time role is part of the University of Missouri School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology, supporting the Dementia Infusion Program and outpatient care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. Opportunity Highlights Full‑time role Monday – Friday schedule with no call or weekends Collaborative team of neurologists, residents, fellows, and support staff No call required Excellent university benefits, including family tuition discounts and an 8% retirement match Key Responsibilities Provide independent and collaborative care for dementia and Alzheimer patients in an outpatient setting Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes Perform treatments and interventions as indicated Educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research Utilize basic computer skills and problem‑solving abilities, adapting to varied work settings Minimum Qualifications • Master of Science in Nursing degree. • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi‑state RN (must apply under new state of residency within 30 days). • Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing. Shift & Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 annually. Grade: PAT‑013. University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER – SC II.
