Registered Nurse - MedSurg Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Nights 19:00 - 07:00, including weekdays and three weekend shifts within a four-week period. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg team. The nurse will provide exceptional care to patients on a 34-bed telemetry unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a MedSurg setting. Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond to patients' needs promptly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR. Lead and educate junior staff and team members. Participate in daily huddles and patient rounds. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years experience in MedSurg nursing. Active RN License (WV or Compact License required). Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
