CNC Lathe Machinist - Bourne, MA $32/hr -$36/hr
Ability to produce precision machined parts in stainless steels, aluminum, titanium and plastics by setting up & running large capacity horizontal CNC lathe machines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Able to set up and operate large capacity CNC lathes, up to 14" diameter and up to 36" lengths.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to use inspection tools and understand technical documentation.
- Good math, technical, and computer skills.
- Recordkeeping and reporting proficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Communication and time management skills.
- Physical dexterity and stamina may be needed for production floor duties.
- Setup & operate CNC lathes based on work orders & blueprints.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code/CAM programs to understand specifications and instructions.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure quality output and meet production goals.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Document production data and report nonconformities in output.
- Collaborate with quality inspectors and supervisors to support process improvement, and production deadlines.
