- Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory evaluations across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other fields, adhering to established procedures.
- Interpret test results for correctness, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments with routine checks and calibration.
- Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare them for testing as required.
- Keep detailed documentation of all processes, providing training to new team members while ensuring adherence to laboratory quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment while complying with regulations and accreditation guidelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within the first year of employment.
- Maintain up-to-date certification throughout your tenure.
- Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within healthcare teams.
