Job Summary
A Radiologic Technologist (Xray Technologist) position is available in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves providing general radiographic imaging services, including ortho, trauma, and portable X-rays within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers flexible shift options, with either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Details

• Location: Louisville, Kentucky
• Schedule: Shift times include either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and a Kentucky State license (KBMIRT). The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in general X-ray, ortho, traumas, and portables.
• Preferred Qualifications: Operating Room (OR) experience is preferred but not mandatory; OR experience can be utilized in the Emergency Room (ER).
• Additional Information: The work involves floating to the Emergency Room, Operating Room, and portable imaging throughout the facility. The department supports a high patient volume with an average of 266 patients per day. The team includes front desk staff, lead technologists, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, RTs, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7. Equipment includes Cerner electronic medical record system, Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE and Phillips C-arms, and Medtronic equipment. The department provides orientation with 3-4 shifts in the unit and requires participation in holiday rotations. Scrub color is Ceil Blue, and parking is available with free badge access.
