$10,000 Sign-On with a 2-year commitment Schedule: Full-time, Nights About the Role Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, invites Radiology Technicians (Rad Technicians) to join a dedicated, patient-focused imaging department. Your expertise in X‑ray, CT, and MRI will support accurate diagnoses, compassionate care, and continuous professional growth. How you'll contribute Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications when ordered, monitor patient condition continuously, and respond to changes. Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment; troubleshoot, resolve, and report any malfunctions. Position patients and perform imaging procedures; analyze results to identify quality issues, take corrective action, and report scan results. Health & Fitness Center Access : What we're looking for Applicants must hold a current state Radiologic Technologist license and a degree from an approved Radiologic Technology program. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Hospital training during a two‑year Radiologic Technologist program. Desire for experience in other X‑ray departments, clinics, or medical offices. Member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry‑eligible, maintaining registration upon receipt. Desirable membership in national, state, or local societies. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently. Readiness to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
