Job Title: Line Cook (Full-Time) Department: Back of House | Reports To: Executive Chef Location: 175 W Boylston St, West Boylston, MA 01583

Position Summary

Table 12 Kitchen & Bar is seeking an experienced full-time Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes while working as part of a strong team.

This is a full-time position eligible for company benefits, including health, dental, and 401(k) participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and timing guidelines.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness of assigned station before, during, and after each shift.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with prep work, portioning, and labeling as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow cooks, servers, and kitchen management.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation for every dish served.
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including restocking and cleaning equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• 1–2+ years of line cook experience required in a full-service or high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen equipment
• ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Full-time; nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience

Working Environment

Fast-paced commercial kitchen, requiring standing for extended periods, exposure to heat, and frequent lifting, bending, and reaching. Must adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
