The Furniture Technician position is located in Tracy, CA . You’ll Be Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will: Able to perform wood and upholstery repairs including burn-ins, wood graining and clear finish. Repair on top surface (larger than ½ inch). Color match on top surface. Proper applications of sealers and top coats. Polishing top coat to vendor specifications. Cross grain scratches burn in and rubbed out. Proper application of finishes using spray gun. Check Out Some of the Required Qualifications We Are Looking For in Amazing Candidates: High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 1 year experience. Upholstery and wood repairs including burn-ins. Positive attitude with strong work ethic. Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail. Self-motivating individual able to work independently and collaboratively. Dependable and deadline oriented with ability to perform under pressure. Furniture repair skill assessment testing will be required as part of interview process. We Prefer Some of These Qualities as Well: Previous experience with painting, wood assembly, wood repair, and/or similar craftsmanship. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to work under pressure and fast learner. Availability to work full time schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays. Furniture repair skills assessment testing may be required as part of the interview process. Comfortable walking, standing 90% of the day.
