Warehouse Supervisor

Description

D Shift Warehouse Supervisor: 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am, rotating shift, must be able to work every other weekend.

Pay: $85,000-95,000/annually; based on experience.

Summary : Directs and coordinates all warehousing activities and employees. Supervises the storage, inventory control, order filling and shipment to customers for all finished goods.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Manages the storage of all finished goods.
• Maintains inventory control of all finished goods.
• Ensures all trucks are properly loaded and secured in accordance with load plan. Ensures shipments are packed properly and protected against damage in transit.
• Ensures stock locator system is maintained and updated.
• Reports and investigates all accidents/ incidents, and completes accident/ incident reports in a timely manner and submits to human resources.
• Maintains neat, clean, safe and tidy work environment throughout warehouse.
• Maintains labor budget requirements.
• Coordinates weekly cycle counts with staff to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a back-up position (ex., Team Lead or Asst. Supvr.).
• Requires experience driving a forklift.
• Requires a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must have leadership level general competencies in accountability, customer service, integrity and honesty, and quality focus.
• Must have leadership level functional competencies in interpersonal skills, knowledge of warehouse/shipping process, planning and organizing, and warehouse safety.

Work Environment :

Exposure to cold, hot, dust, some heavy lifting up to 50-75lbs.


Must be able to drive a forklift.
