Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a position in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency care and some pediatric experience. Travel experience is also required. Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Manage common patient diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Utilize specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Participate in a fast-paced environment with a focus on critical care and rapid decision-making. Assist with all assigned patients, including SANE cases. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting, with pediatric experience preferred. Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at the time of submission). Active nursing licenses in New York and any other states held, verification through NURSYS required. EMR experience, specifically with EPIC, is required. Strong capability to float to various areas within the department as needed. Charge capability is highly preferred but not mandatory. Must possess a driver's license with an address matching the provided demographics. Working Conditions This position will require working night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with block scheduling not guaranteed. The Emergency Department encompasses 64 beds, including triage, acute care, and trauma areas. Floating within the department is mandatory.
