DISHWASHER (PART TIME)

Position Overview We are hiring immediately for part‑time Dishwasher positions at Parkwest Medical Center, 9352 Park West Boulevard, Knoxville, TN 37923. Online applications only. Pay Range $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Schedule The position is full‑time, five days a week. Days and hours may vary; weekends are included. Exact schedule details will be discussed during the interview. Responsibilities Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment, and ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures, and ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces. Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and product. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous dishwashing experience required. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
