Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with accidents, trauma, and medical emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Perform patient assessments and document care using electronic health record systems
• Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary ED team to manage high-acuity patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient care within an ED setting
