In this role, you'll prepare the operating room, support surgeons and other team members throughout procedures, and help maintain a clean, efficient surgical environment.

• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, or be within 12 months of graduating from an approved program
• Maintain American Heart Association CPR certification
• Demonstrate professionalism, tact, empathy, diplomacy, and a positive approach to teamwork
• Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment according to the procedure, and understand their appropriate uses
• Apply aseptic practices consistently; verify sterile packaging and sterilization indicators before opening supplies
• Assist with skin preparation, draping, specimen handling, and the safe disposal of sharps
• Coordinate sponge, needle, and instrument counts with the circulating nurse, reporting discrepancies according to operating room procedures
• Support disinfection, sterilization, environmental control, room cleanliness, and efficient turnover
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent reaching and handling, occasional lifting, and occasional stooping or kneeling
