Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Minneola Long Term Care. As an integral member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing exceptional care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and supervision to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess resident health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor resident responses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Provide education and support to residents and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Kansas
• Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and privacy
• Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement
