Inspector

Job Title

Perform daily inspection of water main installation, replacement, and rehabilitation projects

Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and local/state standards

Monitor contractor activities including trenching, pipe installation, bedding, backfilling, and testing

Verify proper installation of valves, hydrants, fittings, and service connections

Observe and document pressure testing, disinfection, and tie-in procedures

Maintain detailed daily reports, including quantities, progress, and any field issues

Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and municipal representatives to address field concerns

Identify and document non-compliant work and ensure corrective actions are taken

Track project schedules and report on progress and delays

Serve as the primary Resident Project Representative (RPR) on-site as required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
