Director of Maintenance

Maintenance Director Fountain View | Cincinnati, Ohio Area CCH Healthcare is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to join our growing long-term care and skilled nursing team in the Cincinnati area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Director of Maintenance, Facilities Manager, Maintenance Manager, Building Maintenance Supervisor, or Healthcare Maintenance Professional looking to lead facility operations and make a meaningful impact on resident care. As the Maintenance Director , you will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, building maintenance, preventive maintenance, life safety compliance, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry repairs, painting, grounds maintenance, and equipment maintenance . The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can manage daily operations while ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities Oversee all maintenance operations for the facility, grounds, and equipment. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and reduce downtime. Perform and coordinate repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems, painting, and general building maintenance . Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and life safety regulations . Conduct routine facility inspections and address maintenance concerns promptly. Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers. Support regulatory surveys, inspections, and audits. Maintain emergency preparedness systems and facility safety standards. Coordinate room renovations, facility improvements, and capital projects. Participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a Maintenance Director, Facilities Manager, Maintenance Manager, Plant Operations Director, or Building Maintenance Supervisor . Healthcare, skilled nursing facility (SNF), long‑term care, hospital, apartment, hotel, or industrial maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, carpentry, painting, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance programs . Experience managing maintenance budgets, work orders, contractors, and facility compliance. Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
