Full Time: 36 Hours Per Week

Shift: 12-Hour AM and PM shifts

Pay: $17.37/hour + shift differentials

Job Description

Assist individuals in crisis with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility.

Implement interventions developed by behavior analyst in behavior support plan to prevent challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals in crisis.

Implement de-escalation strategies to reduce and prevent harmful behaviors during crisis situations.

Closely work with the behavior analyst, other members of the treatment team, and facility staff to coordinate crisis management approaches and ensure consistency in behavior support strategies.

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of observations, interventions, and outcomes related to skill acquisition, crisis incidents, and individual care.

Maintain open communication channels with nursing staff, individuals, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and effective crisis resolution.

Address any personnel issues to promote a productive and supportive work environment.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies relevant to crisis services.

Fingerprint-Based Background Check of Georgia and Federal Criminal History Records

Drug Screening

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Preferred: Prior experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities
