Cibes Symmetry Lift Solutions

Job Description

Job Description

Step Into a Day Shaping Product Excellence

At Cibes|Symmetry, you’ll help elevate everyday life—literally. As a Quality Technician in our Roanoke, Illinois facility, you’ll move between the production floor and problem-solving huddles, guiding our teams toward zero-defect outcomes for residential elevators, home lifts, commercial lifts, and low-rise elevators. Your starting pay range is $26–$30 per hour, depending on experience.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
  • Start strong: Join a quick stand-up with line leaders to surface the day’s quality concerns and align on priorities.
  • Investigate deeply: Trace defects to their root causes, develop corrective actions, and ensure they’re implemented and sustained.
  • Measure progress: Track and report quality metrics and Cost of Quality (COQ) trends to spotlight wins and opportunities.
  • Coach and elevate: Facilitate targeted training on standards, inspection methods, and problem-solving tools.
  • Get hands-on: Read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams; inspect subassemblies, assemblies, electronics, structures, and components with calipers, levels, stripping tools, signal generators, and more.
  • Recommend fixes: Call out adjustments, repairs, or part changes to bring work back into spec, operating special tooling and lifting devices safely.
  • Partner to deliver: Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to remove roadblocks and keep production moving.
  • Verify visually: Perform detailed visual inspections and assist with troubleshooting efficiency or effectiveness issues.
  • Grow skills: Cross-train across processes as needed—and take on other related duties that advance quality performance.
