Living Hope Arcadia is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our residential behavioral health team. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and professional individual with previous experience working in a BHRF, IOP, residential treatment, substance-use treatment, or similar behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate behavioral health, recovery, life-skills, and psychoeducational groups within the employee’s qualifications and scope
• Provide individual behavioral health support and interventions under the supervision of a qualified/licensed provider
• Assist clients with coping skills, recovery goals, daily living skills, and treatment-plan objectives
• Support the daily structure and therapeutic activities of the BHRF
• Observe and document client participation, behaviors, progress, and concerns
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with clinical providers, nursing staff, case managers, and other members of the treatment team
• Assist with client transportation and facility activities as assigned
• Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum: Associate degree in behavioral health, psychology, social work, human services, or a related field OR Peer Support Certification
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in behavioral health, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
• Previous behavioral health experience, particularly in a BHRF or IOP setting, strongly preferred
• Experience facilitating behavioral health or psychoeducational groups preferred
• Must have a clean background and meet applicable employment/background -check requirements
• Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card within 3 months of employment
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to safely transport clients when required using compaany vehicle
• Strong communication, documentation, and client-engagement skills
• Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and comfortable working with adults experiencing behavioral health and substance-use challenges
