You'll work on sophisticated issues at the intersection of technology, M&A, and regulatory affairs.The role reports to the Senior Director, Head of Antitrust & Competition Legal and will work out of the beautiful Salesforce office 3 days a week in either D.C. or San Francisco.ResponsibilitiesAdvise Product, Sales, Distribution, Legal, and other internal teams on a wide range of competition law matters related to Salesforce's U.S. and global business activitiesProvide strategic antitrust support to the Corporate Development and Legal teams on M&A transactions, investments, and strategic partnerships, including overseeing antitrust filings and regulator engagement across jurisdictionsCoordinate responses to antitrust inquiries from enforcement agencies globally, including preparing responses to third-party questionnaires, RFIs, and interview requestsAnalyze competition law compliance issues relating to Salesforce's commercial arrangements, distribution agreements, strategic relationships, and product collaborationsPartner with the Global Ethics & Integrity team to develop and deliver competition law training and awareness programs across the businessMonitor antitrust regulatory developments and enforcement trends globally and assess implications for SalesforcePartner with Government Affairs on proactive engagement with regulators and external stakeholdersRetain and manage outside counsel on antitrust mattersDesired Skills & ExperienceAt least 4–8 years of antitrust law experience at a top-tier law firm, government agency (e.g., DOJ Antitrust Division, FTC), or in-houseSubstantive expertise across the spectrum of competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, vertical and horizontal restraints, and commercial arrangementsStrong analytical, writing, and communication skills; ability to provide clear, practical advice to business clientsComfortable working independently in a small, fast-paced team environmentJ.D. and admission to at least one state bar requiredWe have a public-facing website that explains our various benefits, including medical, dental, 401k, ESPP, generous parental leave, adoption assistance, fertility benefits, and more.
