Join the Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation team as a Housekeeper ! We are a small, resident-centered and quality-focused skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center seeking compassionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our team. About the Role: As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and equipment. You will play an essential role in ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role includes potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids consistent with a healthcare setting, and requires working around residents who may have communicable conditions, while following all infection control and safety protocols. Responsibilities: Knows how to sweep, dust mop, and mop floors Knows how to change and remove trash Knows how to vacuum Knows how to follow cleaning guidelines Notifies supervisor when supplies are low Keeps Housekeeping carts clean and in good working order Properly stores equipment, tools, and supplies Keeps a log of areas that are cleaned Reports any mechanical or equipment condition to supervisor Reports any questionable resident conditions to supervisor Follow and maintain infection control guidance Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to work as a team member Must be able to work weekends Ability to work effectively and efficiently Positive and upbeat attitude Why Join Us: At Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are a family of skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients and residents.
