Associate, Mid, and Senior Market Analyst Salary Ranges Associate: $68,400 to $76,000 per year. Mid: $94,500 to $105,000 per year. Senior: $114,300 to $127,000 per year. Primary Purpose of Position The Market Analyst will be responsible for understanding energy market conditions, tracking and evaluating programs and regulations, and developing insightful forecasts of the impacts of key trends. The role will focus on evaluating the effects of energy demand, commodity prices, renewable energy, emerging technologies, and changes to the generation fleet in U.S. energy markets. The objective of the role is to prepare Constellation to compete in a rapidly changing business environment. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Identify market drivers and ensure they are incorporated into short- and long-term forecasts. Coordinate perspectives on market developments with stakeholders across Constellation and communicate emerging market dynamics to a broader commercial audience. Collaborate with Fundamentals, Structuring, Risk, and other teams to ensure consistent and coordinated market analysis. Run and customize off‑the‑shelf and proprietary analytical models, including tools such as Plexos, and evaluate modeling results. Communicate modeling results, insights, and implications in a clear and concise manner. Partner with team members to develop analytical tools, models, and market insights. Minimum Qualifications Associate Market Analyst Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. 1 year of relevant work experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Project management skills. Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or abstract concepts and limited guidance. Proven quantitative analysis skills and strong mathematical and analytical abilities. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Motivation to achieve results in a collaborative and rapidly evolving market. Mid Market Analyst Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field. 2 years of relevant experience. Excellent customer service skills, strong communications skills, and solid project management skills. Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or abstract concepts and limited guidance. Proven quantitative analysis skills and strong mathematical and analytical abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written. Self‑motivated to achieve results in a collaborative and rapidly evolving environment. Senior Market Analyst 5 years of relevant experience. Project management skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or abstract concepts and limited guidance. Proven quantitative analysis skills and strong mathematical and analytical abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written.
