Job Details Staff Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of patients referred for speech therapy services. The Speech Therapist is an integral health‑care provider accountable for assisting patients to their highest level of function and works in conjunction with other health‑care professionals to coordinate treatment plans and care. Essential Functions Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings as appropriate. Participate in student education (e.g., ICE, OT level1, or a full‑time student) and provide education and teaching commensurate with a novice clinician. Plan, organize, and deliver treatment programs that help clients/patients recover and rehabilitate. Utilize tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and trainings for patients and families. Record and document clients’ health progress information for evaluation; include daily treatments, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Certification Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) required. 0–2 years of clinical practice required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology required. State license required. CPR certification required.
