Principal Executive Assistant
Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the principal executive assistant in support of planning and execution of the daily operations of the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), Operations, Headquarters US AF HQ/A3, including general analysis and staff advisory services. Communicates DCS' vision, philosophy, and intent to the USAF/A3 staff, Air Staff, Joint Staff, and MAJCOM commanders. Duties include:
- Identifying and analyzing key issues, developing strategies, and advising the DCS and senior leadership on recommended courses of action on a broad variety of topics related to MAJCOM, NAF, FOA or DRU functions.
- Serving as Project Officer for DCS directed initiatives and special interest items.
- Coordinating review of higher level taskings, identifying best course of action, potential problems, and recommending HAF/A3 response.
