Business Unit Overview Blackstone Multi‑Asset Investing (BXMA) manages $101billion across a diversified set of businesses. BXMA strives to generate attractive risk‑adjusted returns for clients across market cycles through Absolute Return, Multi‑Strategy, Total Portfolio Management, and Public Real Assets. Product Management Team Role Within BXMA, the Product Management team sits at the intersection of investment and client‑facing organizations and serves as the firm’s center of excellence for investment product content. The team partners closely with various investment teams, Client Investment Strategy, and Institutional Client Solutions (ICS) to shape how strategies are understood, positioned, and delivered to the market. The role focuses on improving and rebuilding the data infrastructure that underpins all content. This involves designing, building, and maintaining complex data processes from raw tables to client‑friendly visuals and reports. The successful candidate will partner with developers to build production‑ready code that automates reports and supports advanced analytics. Responsibilities Dig into manual data processes involving large Excel models and rebuild them entirely from scratch using best practices and tools (SQL, Python). Translate business and client needs into technical requirements, leveraging financial concepts and investment knowledge. Communicate effectively with developers and non‑technical business stakeholders, summarizing issues and solutions. Develop new data models and tools in partnership with technology teams for automation and enhanced analytics. Visualize, design, and implement new business processes and data workflows, translating stakeholder requirements into actionable projects. Oversee software developer resources to implement solutions. Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in a quantitative or data‑focused field, ideally involving financial or investment concepts. Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and experience with databases, data structures, and data analysis tools. Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Python) and strong Excel skills; VBA/Power Query experience is a plus. Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach and inquisitive, data‑driven mindset. Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills; ability to bridge the gap between non‑technical business users and technical staff. Attention to detail and meticulousness in execution. Preferred: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a quantitative or data‑oriented field. Compensation and Benefits Expected annual base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000. Compensation within this range is determined by experience, skills, and job location. For roles located outside the United States, local market compensation guidelines apply. Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA), paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) plan, discretionary bonuses, and, where applicable, equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s discretion.
