Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1 hour lunch 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (no lunch) Total of 40 hours/week

The Adult Acute Rehabilitation Unit is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient experience to join our team. Candidates should possess state licensure and demonstrate a strong background in rehabilitation hospital settings. The physical therapist will manage a daily workload of 10-12 patients and focus on creating personalized treatment plans aimed at recovery and improvement in functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patient mobility and recovery
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and adaptive devices
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid state Physical Therapy licensure
• 1 year of outpatient rehabilitation experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications in Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, Hand Therapy, and Wound Care are preferred

Candidate must be willing to work in a designated healthcare facility in South Carolina.
