Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute

Pay Range: $16.91 - $28.20

Responsibilities

Schedule all appointments according to physician orders, outside testing, referrals and for PET/CT radiology services.

Act as liaison between the PET/CT Unit and our Clinics to ensure that all pertinent pre and post scanning data/information has been given to patients.

Strong computer and telephone skills needed.

Qualifications

Education: High school education required.

Previous Experience: Experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting; procedure entry with experience in insurance requirements, medical terminology and ICD9 and CPT coding; excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.

Travel: Less than 25%

Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
