We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual for a Permanent Accountant position. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our Accounting + Finance team, responsible for maintaining and improving our financial systems, processes, and policies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial objectives, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting information while supporting our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of our financial systems, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other financial documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Analyze business operations, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial status, identify potential risks, and recommend effective solutions.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies, working closely with the management team.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to our team, helping to drive business performance.
• Participate in the development and support of software systems used for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of accounting theory.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP and a strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
• Experience with financial reporting and financial data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Proficiency in finance software and databases, with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
