Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology

We are seeking Gastroenterologists for 24-hour call coverage in Bay City, Michigan, with ongoing needs extending through 2026.

**Coverage Schedule:** - **Monday 7 AM - Thursday 7 AM:** 24-hour coverage - 

**Friday 7 AM - 7 PM:** 12-hour coverage - **No weekend call required.**

**Available Dates for Coverage:** - October 26 - October 30 - December 7 - December 11 - December 21 - December 25

**Procedural Skills Required:**

- ERCP proficiency is mandatory.

- Hospitalist support is available.

- There are two colorectal surgeons in the community.

- The GI clinic is conveniently located less than half a mile from the hospital.

**Provider Requirements:**

- **MI License:** Required - **Board Certification:** Required; we are open to reviewing candidates who are Truly Board Eligible. -

 **Local Providers:** Preferred; no travel expenses will be covered.

- **DEA Certification:** Required at the time of start. - **Malpractice History:** Must be clean; no exceptions for expedited credentialing. -

 **NPDB Documentation:** A self-query must be presented (should be pulled within 30 days prior to start) and is required.
