Dental Care of Minooka is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our fun and friendly team!

About Dental Care of Minooka

• Join a 12-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication and community!
• Beautiful, state-of-the-art practice with 12 operatories and hosting 2 doctors and 4 dental hygienists.
• We're located at the intersection of US Route 6 and Ridge Road, down the road from Channahon State Park. Lots of coffee, food and grocery shopping options nearby!

Schedule:

• Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Tuesday 9:30am-7:00pm
• Wednesday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm
• 1 Saturday E/O Month 7:30am-12:00pm

Patient Schedule:

• 60 minute prophys and recalls
• 60-90 minute SRPs
• 90 minute New Patient appointments

Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and best dental care practices
• Perform periodontal charting and assessments
• Take digital x-rays and assist in diagnosing dental conditions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix
• Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care
• Stay current on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene

Qualifications:

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Illinois
• Local Anesthesia certified
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Patient care experience and a passion for providing exceptional service
• Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required
• Open to new graduates eager to grow in the field!
