Assist other pharmacists and technicians with routine duties as needed. Provide professional and technical guidance to pharmacy staff. Exercise professional judgment in providing therapeutic and drug information to patients and healthcare professionals. Be competent in treating adult and geriatric patients, as appropriate to the hospital's patient population. Capable of entering at least 40 orders per four-hour shift. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharmacist degree. Current state license in good standing. Minimum of three months of pharmacy experience. Working knowledge of OSHA, JCAHO, HCFA, and state guidelines. Experience in team facilitation and policy writing.
