With 6 established locations and 3 additional sites preparing to open , this FQHC is thoughtfully expanding their primary care footprint by prioritizing sustainable growth, quality outcomes, and strong provider culture. Other current service lines include behavioral health, dental services, and mobile outreach programs. The Role of the CMO Build Something That Lasts Oversee a team of approximately 7 primary care clinicians today, with expanding scope and complexity as new sites open. This is not maintenance leadership, it’s foundational leadership. Executive Influence Partner directly with the CEO and executive team to align clinical strategy with organizational goals, payer relationships, and long-term community impact. The Opportunity The Chief Medical Officer will: Provide strategic and operational oversight of primary care services across multiple sites Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive measurable outcomes Mentor, develop, and recruit mission-aligned clinicians Strengthen integration between behavioral health and primary care services Support sustainable growth initiatives, including new site openings Ensure regulatory compliance within the FQHC model Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and compassion Continue providing exceptional, evidenced-based care to the community (~2 days per week) This role will begin with oversight of a manageable team and expand in scope as additional clinics open offering increasing leadership complexity and strategic influence over time.
