About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff for its U.S. Consumer Cards business. This senior Director-level role is pivotal in driving the strategic and operational agenda of the business, ensuring alignment across various card and lending portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the business's strategic agenda, including high-level business reviews, operating plans, and key regulatory engagements. The Chief of Staff will also be tasked with managing the operating rhythm of the leadership team, overseeing financial performance, and leading special projects with a significant business impact. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services, strategy, or business management, with a strong preference for those with a background in the card and payments industry. The role requires exceptional communication skills, a proven track record of influencing and aligning senior stakeholders, and a deep understanding of financial acumen, particularly in P&L mechanics and business drivers. The Chief of Staff will be a trusted advisor to the Head of U.S. Consumer Cards, with a focus on long-term strategy and immediate execution, and must demonstrate high emotional intelligence, organizational judgment, and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships at all levels of the organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
