LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Apple Valley, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN StartDate: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Contract Details Local Candidates Accepted 12-Hour Variable Day Shifts First-Time Travelers Not Accepted Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience (3+ years preferred). Experience with a variety of surgical procedures in an acute care setting. Strong perioperative nursing and patient care skills. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Schedule & Call Requirements Variable 12-hour shifts, Sunday–Saturday coverage. Shift options include: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM + On-Call 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM + On-Call 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekend and Holiday Call Required. Estimated 70–90 on-call hours every 6 weeks . Block scheduling available at manager discretion. All RTO must be submitted at the time of application. Key Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams. Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Respond to emergency and on-call surgical cases as needed.
