Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator with a strong background in underground utilities and mass excavation projects. This individual will play a key role in preparing competitive bids, analyzing project costs, and supporting preconstruction efforts across a variety of heavy civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil construction projects Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation Estimate projects involving underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm drainage Develop quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, grading, and site development Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Collaborate with operations and project management teams during bid preparation Assist with value engineering and project budgeting Maintain organized bid documentation and historical cost data Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience within heavy civil construction Strong experience pricing utility infrastructure and mass excavation projects Knowledge of underground utility installation methods and civil construction practices Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports Strong communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines Preferred Software & Technology Experience HCSS (preferred) Experience with similar estimating software will also be considered What We Offer Bonus opportunities Long-term growth potential Strong pipeline of civil infrastructure workCollaborative and team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr American Edge Partners
