As a Director of Pharmacy for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you’ll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. The Director of Pharmacy is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations and clinical services of the Pharmacy Department.
• Practicing as an active staff Pharmacist within an inpatient psychiatric facility.
• Leading and coordinating pharmacy regulatory compliance.
• Representing pharmacy on hospital regulatory compliance committees and efforts.
• Evaluating and ensuring compliance of organizational policies with applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those of The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
• Coordinating and participating in audits as required by regulatory bodies.
• Coordinating creation and updates of Department of Pharmacy policies & procedures.
• Precepting, supervising and supporting pharmacy staff.
• Being responsible for all operational and financial aspects of an inpatient pharmacy department providing care to a patient population with diverse psychiatric and medical needs.

Qualifications

• Five years-experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Leadership and management experience

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. $130,000 - $155,000
