AI Data Analyst

Position Summary
Responsible for designing, governing, maintaining, and optimizing ontology models within the Palantir Foundry platform. This role works closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, product owners, and analytics teams to ensure business concepts are accurately represented in Foundry Ontology and aligned with enterprise data governance standards.




Key Responsibilities
Ontology Management
Design and maintain Foundry Ontology objects, links, actions, and business logic.
Define semantic data models that accurately represent business processes and operational workflows.
Establish ontology governance standards and best practices.
Data Governance & Quality
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability of ontology objects.
Monitor ontology health, lineage, and data quality metrics.
Manage ontology versioning and change control processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business users to translate requirements into ontology models.
Facilitate workshops to define entities, relationships, and business rules.
Support adoption of ontology-driven applications across business units.
Platform Administration
Configure Foundry Ontology Manager and related Foundry applications.
Manage access controls, permissions, and stewardship workflows.
Support deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Training
Create ontology documentation, standards, and user guides.
Train business users and technical teams on ontology concepts and usage.
Maintain metadata and business glossary alignment.




Required Technical Skills

Strong experience with Palantir Foundry platform.
Ontology Manager configuration and administration.
Foundry applications and operational workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Modeling, or Data Stewardship.
2+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry.
Experience supporting ontology-driven operational applications.
Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or automotive domains is preferred.
