Retail Scan Associate

Retail Scan Associate (WATERTOWN SD 57201) This is a permanent PART-TIME role. The base hours for this position average from 6-12 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours (typically 1–2 hours per week per store) are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details will be reviewed during the interview. ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. Monetary referral program Route Grocery - WATERTOWN SD 57201 – Monday, Tuesday Grocery - WEBSTER SD 57274 – Monday, Tuesday Grocery - Watertown SD 57201 – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Responsibilities Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store. Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products you scan. Complete Display Scanning on the entire store weekly. Work on Custom Projects when requested, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for those weeks for each store. Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain data quality. Qualifications At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage. Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and accessing products throughout the store. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand. Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Must be deadline-driven self-starter. Must have reliable Wi‑Fi connectivity. Must be tech‑savvy. High school diploma or GED (preferred). This position is expected to remain open for approximately 30 days and may close earlier if sufficient qualified candidates are identified.
