In this role you will get to lead or participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and modeling and simulation (M&S) tool development to support architecture assessment.What You'll Be Doing:Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance Assist in the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process and assess analysis results, and prepare architecture analysis briefs/reportsSupport modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plansWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCIBachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job and 8+ years of related professional experience Master's Degree or equivalent, may be preferred at this level Solid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future conceptsExperience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architecturesStrong skill in interpreting results and presenting findings clearlyExcellent ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as collaboration with others to achieve objectivesStrong time management skills and the ability to assess tasks based on their importance and urgencyWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Master’s Degree with 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project or a Bachelor's Degree with 20+ years experienceActive TS/SCI ClearanceExperience with AFSIM or similar MDS simulation tools/frameworksBackground in IAMD/Cruise Missile Defense systemsBackground or experience with space systemsExperience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architecturesExperience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activitiesSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
