Work Environment This is a remote position that enables you to carry out your responsibilities from the comfort of your own home, while still collaborating effectively with our interdisciplinary team of professionals. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive, culturally aware assessments of clients’ mental health needs, using evidence-based practices to devise personalized treatment plans. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, implementing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique cultural and personal context. Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to create an interconnected patient care experience that addresses the whole person. Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies. Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and local community resources that enhance their care journey. Ensure that all client interactions and documentation comply with the highest ethical standards and legal requirements. Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry practices, particularly around culturally competent care. Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to cultivating a learning-focused atmosphere. Patient Population / Client Focus At Green Leaf Psychotherapy Services, we focus our efforts on serving a rich tapestry of clients representing various ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations, and life experiences. Our therapists are uniquely positioned to offer support that respects the complex realities faced by immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and more. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. A current and valid license to practice as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas. A solid foundation of understanding regarding mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural competence is essential. A history of successfully providing both individual and group therapy, with an emphasis on culturally responsive approaches. Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and remaining composed during high-pressure scenarios. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with a diverse clientele. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain organized and compliant documentation. A commitment to ethical practices and the maintenance of professional boundaries in all professional interactions. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, any previous experience working in multicultural settings, especially with underserved communities, is highly regarded. Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and additional training or certifications in cultural competency are also advantages that will enhance your application. Compensation and Benefits This full-time role offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
